Are you feeling sick or hurt? Call our 24-hour Medical Advice Line. Our nurses are there for you day and night to answer your questions. Did you know that just by making a call you can avoid co-pays?
Here is how it works. If you need help, call the Medical Advice Line at (888) 620-1515, TTY 711. Our nurses will talk with you and will let you know what to do. At the end of the call, they will give you a code. If you need to go to the Emergency Room, show that code and you will not be charged.
Medicaid and CHIP members never have a co-pay for emergency medical or mental treatment in Puerto Rico. It does not matter if they use the Medical Advice Line or not.
